Daily Devotion – Powerless Apart From God

Panapa Leuluai – Senior Pastor

I am the Lord All-Powerful. So don’t depend on your own power or strength, but on my Spirit (Zec 4:6 CEV).”
It doesn’t matter how strong or fast or clever you are on the outside. Apart from God you are powerless. You must learn to fight your enemy in God’s strength, not yours. If you do not let His strength flow through you, then you will not win. The enemy jabs at your weak spots, but you can over take him in God’s authority. Be strong in your faith, and fight with the weapon of His Word and the power of prayer. Don’t go another round with the evil one in your own strength, and don’t sit down in weary defeat. Step back into the ring and fight like the children of God, He has trained you to be…and you will win.
Our Lord, our victory!

“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing (John 15:5 NKJV).”

I pray you will be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit and not be deceived by the enemy into thinking you can do battle in your own strength. May you always be aware that apart from God, you can do nothing. I pray you will stay immersed in His power and in His strength so you can be successful in the battles to come. May you take hope in the knowledge that your loving Father gives His power freely to those who obey Him and stay near Him. I pray you will not separate yourself from Him.
